Image Mapping
1.first, open a new document and pick a size (i chose 400x100)
2.write what you want on your document. i will be using this if you would like to follow along with me.
3.below, is just for help so when i explain, you'll know where to click.
1 is where your picture should be. you select what you want image mapped here.
2 is where you put the url of where you want the person to go when they click on your picture.
3 is what comes up when the person puts their arrow on your picture.
4 is the format, which has to be jpeg or png for the image map to work, unless you want an animated imagemapped picture which would be gif.
5 is what you click to get the code. a seperate page should open when you click this and your image should be there. to get the code right click and click "view source".
6 is what you chose to select the area you want imagemapped. usually you chose the square, but you can chose the others if you want.
4. okay so now that you know all of that you should be able to follow the rest of my tutorial.
5. after you opened your document and made your picture, go to file>>export>>imagemapper
6. next, use the square to select the first part you want imagemapped and put the url there so when people click on that, they will go to that spot.
7. now just repeat that until you have image mapped everything you want.
8. when you are done, click the thing that looks like an eye and your image should open in a seperate page. then right click and chose "view source". your code should come up. and it should look similar to here and follow those rules.
9. after that your image should be imagemapped and should work and here's my final result :]
